Marina Zaton is located in the village of Zaton northwest of Šibenik, inside the sheltered waters of the Krka estuary in central Dalmatia. Positioned along the inland waterway connecting Šibenik with Skradin and the Krka River, the marina provides organised berthing in a protected environment away from the exposed outer coastline.
The marina offers floating pontoon berths with stern-to mooring lines suitable for sailing yachts, smaller catamarans and motor yachts cruising the Adriatic. Access from offshore follows the main channel through the Šibenik Channel and the Krka estuary, with navigation generally straightforward in normal weather conditions when following the marked channels.
Conditions inside the marina basin are calm due to the naturally sheltered inland position.
The marina offers approximately 30 to 35 berths with mooring lines, with depths ranging from one to four metres. Due to its size and layout, Marina Zaton is best suited for smaller yachts and shallow-draft vessels.
Basic technical assistance is available through the marina operator, while sanitary facilities and a waterfront restaurant are located directly on site. Additional shops and services, including a supermarket and local stores, can be found in the village centre within walking distance.
Marina Zaton appeals to sailors who prefer simple infrastructure, quiet surroundings and easy access to nearby cruising areas without the congestion of larger ports.
