Manoeuvring near the waterfront is usually uncomplicated for smaller and medium-sized vessels, although care is required during busy summer evenings and around local moorings.
Restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and accommodation facilities are located directly along the waterfront and throughout the old town area within walking distance of the harbour. Additional marina infrastructure and organised berthing are available nearby in Marina Kremik.
From a sailing perspective, Primošten is mainly used as a scenic harbour stop and overnight destination while cruising the central Dalmatian coast.
Its sheltered waterfront, historic old town and position along the main Adriatic sailing route make it one of the most frequently visited coastal stops between Šibenik and Split.
