Solaris Yacht Marina
Modern, full-service marina located within the Solaris Beach Resort
The Port of Novalja is located on the western side of the island of Pag and serves as a town harbour rather than a full-service marina. From a charter perspective, Novalja functions primarily as a destination stop within island itineraries, not as an embarkation or technical base.
The harbour offers limited berthing capacity, mainly suitable for smaller yachts and short stays. Conditions inside the port are generally calm, while approaches are straightforward in settled weather. Due to space limitations and seasonal traffic, berthing availability can be restricted during peak summer months.
Facilities are basic compared to dedicated marinas. Water and electricity are available at selected berths, while fuel supply, maintenance and technical services are handled more efficiently in nearby marinas such as Šimuni, Biograd or Zadar. As a result, Novalja is not used for charter operations or long-term berthing.
Novalja is most commonly included in itineraries sailing around Pag and the northern Dalmatian islands, often as a daytime stop or overnight pause. Its location allows routes toward Rab, Olib, Silba and the Zadar archipelago, depending on weather conditions.
The town itself offers extensive shore-side amenities, including supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, pharmacies and transport connections, all within walking distance of the harbour. This makes Novalja suitable for provisioning and crew breaks during island passages.
The Port of Novalja fits best into flexible sailing plans that prioritise destination stops and island exploration rather than fixed charter logistics.
