Vrgada Island
Small and peaceful island in the central Adriatic
Marina Frapa is located in the deeply sheltered bay of Rogoznica, roughly halfway between the cities of Šibenik and Split. Thanks to the natural protection of the surrounding peninsula and islands, this harbour is considered one of the safest and most comfortable marina locations along the central Dalmatian coast.
Marina Frapa offers around 450 berths for yachts, arranged along modern floating pontoons. The harbour basin is calm in most weather conditions, which makes manoeuvring relatively straightforward even during the busy summer months. Approaches are simple when entering Rogoznica Bay, and the marina is clearly visible from the main navigation route.
Berths are equipped with water and electricity connections, and the marina provides the services expected from a well-developed Adriatic marina, including fuel supply, maintenance support and sanitary facilities. The layout of the marina also allows easy access to shore services without long walks through the harbour area.
What makes Marina Frapa distinctive is that it functions not only as a marina but also as a complete nautical complex. Within the marina area visitors will find restaurants, cafés, small shops and leisure facilities, while the town of Rogoznica lies just across the bay within walking distance.
For yachts cruising central Dalmatia, Marina Frapa often serves as a comfortable stop between the Split and Šibenik sailing regions. Its sheltered position, reliable marina infrastructure and easy access to nearby islands make it a practical location for both overnight stays and longer marina visits.
