Positioned along the partially sheltered coastline facing the Vinodol Channel, the marina provides organised berthing for yachts cruising between Kvarner, the islands of Krk and Rab, and the northern Adriatic coast.
The marina offers modern floating pontoon berths with stern-to mooring lines suitable for sailing yachts, smaller catamarans and motor yachts cruising the Adriatic. The approach from offshore is straightforward, and the marina basin is easy to enter in normal weather conditions. Manoeuvring inside the marina is generally uncomplicated due to the organised layout and breakwater-protected basin, although stronger bora winds can affect the wider Vinodol Channel area.
Water and electricity connections are available at the berths together with sanitary facilities, reception services and technical support.
Basic lifting and maintenance services are also available within the marina area, making the marina suitable for transit stays and seasonal berthing.
Restaurants, supermarkets and local services are available nearby in Novi Vinodolski and the surrounding coastal area. Additional provisioning and transport connections can be found along the Kvarner coastline within a short driving distance.
From a sailing perspective, Mitan Marina is commonly used as a quieter base marina and transit stop for routes through Kvarner and the northern Adriatic. Its modern infrastructure and position along the Vinodol Channel make it a practical option for yachts cruising this part of the Croatian coast.
