Punat Port is located in the town of Punat on the western side of Krk Island, inside the sheltered bay of Puntarska Draga in the Kvarner region of the northern Adriatic.
The harbour forms part of the town waterfront and serves mainly local and recreational vessels together with smaller visiting yachts, while larger yacht traffic is primarily handled by nearby Marina Punat.
The port consists mainly of town quay berths and local moorings arranged along the protected waterfront. Conditions inside the harbour are generally calm due to the enclosed position within Puntarska Draga.
Access through the entrance channel into the bay is straightforward in normal weather conditions, although attention is required when following the marked approach channel and navigating shallower areas outside the main route.
Space for visiting yachts in the town harbour is limited and depends on seasonal availability and local harbour use. Manoeuvring is usually uncomplicated for smaller vessels, although the waterfront area can become busy during the summer season.
Restaurants, cafés, supermarkets and local services are located within walking distance along the Punat waterfront and surrounding streets. Additional yacht facilities, technical services and organised marina berthing are available nearby within Marina Punat.
From a sailing perspective, Punat Port is mainly used for short stays, local harbour access and everyday harbour traffic within Puntarska Draga. Most visiting yachts use the nearby marina infrastructure rather than the town harbour itself.
